Do I need an electrical rewire ?

In many cases a full electrical rewire may not be required. Any property which has not been electrical inspected or upgraded since 1970 is likely to need a full rewire and renewal of accessories. After 1970 PVC cable was used and does not degrade in the same way as old rubber. The change in regulations over the following 40 years have been extensive so it would be likely your home needs upgrading works. Electrical rewire to a luxury Victorian dwelling in Queens Gardens, St. Andrews, Fife

This wonderful property was extended and adapted to meet the client's requirements.

The existing electrical and phone installation required a complete renewal to meet current standards. A full home entertainment system was installed to provide music and satellite round the home. The home's electrical installation, audio visual and data was rewired to a high standard with cost efficient LED lighting, underfloor heating, fire alarm system and ventilation included in the design. The property has a 2kw solar PV panel system and storage battery. Our electricians carried out this work in 2 weeks.

Seaside property fully home automated in Lower Largo, Fife

With lovely views down the Forth, this dilapidated property has been renovated to its former glory, with some modern enhancements - home automation, security, CCTV, finger print access, fire alarm, data, telephone and weather sensors all connected to a central control station.

This house can be controlled from anywhere in the world via the internet making it a secure and adaptable modern home. This property has also been fitted with a 4kw solar PV panel system to reduce energy costs.

The property in Dunfermline was fitted with a full fire alarm with visual strobes and vibrating pads to alert tenants. All electrical outlets and switches were positioned appropriately to suit wheel chair users.

We carried out sympathetic renovation of a large farmhouse near Cupar, Fife which has been transformed internally for modern requirements.
